Overview
Two sides compete in T20 cricket, each batting for a maximum of 20 overs to score as many runs as possible, with the team scoring more runs winning. Introduced as an international format in 2005, it is governed by ICC Playing Conditions that modify the MCC Laws of Cricket for T20 International matches.
