Why People Get This Wrong
People often assume that in Draughts (International) FMJD, variants and house rules can only apply when playing face-to-face between two opponents, but actually, they extend to simultaneous displays where one player faces multiple opponents at once or correspondence games where moves are sent alternately. This leads to misunderstandings about the scope of applying these variations and house rules.
